Typical Venetian terraces, built almost entirely with wood. They owe their origins to the close relationship that has always connected Venice to the oriental world. They are one of the spots where it is possible to observe Venice from above. Tradition also describes them as the place where women used to dry their hair in the sun after putting on henna, creating the Venetian red.
